The Nitty Gritty Details

The Beat the Blahs in 10 Charity Challenge

Participant Details:

The purpose of this challenge is to break the stress cycle and turn those “blah” feelings into motivation, productivity, happiness, and overall wellbeing.

Firstly, participants will enroll in 9toThrive’s Wellness Software, where the entire challenge is hosted. They will then sign up for our daily morning and afternoon live sessions, and gain access to our OnDemand Video Library which houses all the recordings of the live sessions. Every time they attend a session (live or recorded) they collect 10 points, which then show up on the leaderboard. The goal is for each participant to complete two sessions per day. Through this software, the participants will also be able to access the weekly Q&A calls (which do not carry a point value).

The communal goal is that the entire organization will work together to collect as many points as possible. To decrease the risk of burnout, participants will only be able to collect 20 points per day (2 sessions). At the end of each week, company standings will be delivered via email.

Once enrolled in the software, participants will be invited to join the Wellness Community Forum on Facebook, where they will be able to share wins, ask questions, and engage with other challenge go-ers.

Added bonus:
Give Back & Support the Community
To cultivate teamwork, connection, and a common purpose, teams will be working together for a chance to give back and support their community. The company who has the highest average points at the end of the challenge will get to donate $500 to the charity of their choice.

Company Details:

Promotional Material: We provide you with both a promotional poster and a “Get Excited” email draft to let your team know about the exciting opportunity of participating in the challenge

Launch Material: Once you’ve let your team know about the challenge, we walk them through everything they need to do to get set up and join the challenge on 9toThrive’s Wellness Software

Admin Support: We need your leadership team and a company representative to help promote the challenge and get your team excited. We provide the above resources to help with this process. Once your employees are signed up for the challenge, we take over all activities (including tech support, motivational emails, and all administrative tasks related to the challenge). Throughout the rest of the month, the only responsibility of your leadership team and representative is to help encourage employee participation throughout the month.

9toThrive’s Wellness Software: The challenge and all of its services are hosted on 9toThrive’s Wellness Software (with both web and app access). Each employee will enroll in the platform, where they will be able to view the daily session schedule, access live and recorded sessions, and view the leaderboard.

Live Tech Support Calls: These calls, hosted by 9toThrive, will take place during the first two weeks of the challenge and are available for your team to join if they’re having any technical issues or questions related to joining the challenge.

Services Included in the Challenge:

Daily Live 10 Minute Morning Jumpstart & Afternoon Recharge sessions + OnDemand Video Library: Each day, participants will gain access to morning and afternoon sessions led by health and wellness experts. We run them live for the motivation, accountability, and support. The live sessions are also recorded so that on demand access can be used throughout the month. Our participants love these sessions so much, they often enjoy going back to the recordings multiple times per day.

Group Q&A session with Qualified Health Coaches: Lots of questions come up when you’re creating change. That’s why we’ve included weekly 30 minute group calls where participants can submit their personal questions and get them answered by a Qualified Health Coach. The benefits of these calls are two fold - not only do participants get to learn from a qualified professional, they also get to learn from their peers about the changes they’re experiencing and how they are breaking through the barriers. Here at 9toThrive, our group sessions are one of the number one tools we use to help people break the bad habits, create healthy ones, and keep them for the long term.

Weekend Wellness Tips: Weekly mini educational features on current mind-body hot topics relevant to stress reduction and recovery. These tips provide the why to help close the knowing doing gap for taking action. (Delivered electronically via email)
